Environmentalist Foundation of India is an organization that focuses on conversation efforts for animals, both domestic and wild. They strive to provide food and shelter for as many animals as they possibly can, working tirelessly towards inculcating greater compassion in the minds of people towards these fellow beings.

Nizhal

Nizhal is a movement that began with the objective of conserving trees. Its volunteers have been actively involved in various greening activities around the city, conducting tree walks, tree surveys and "free the tree" campaigns. Nizhal has also conducted awareness sessions for schools, colleges and varied citizen groups.

Chennai Trekking Club

The Chennai Trekking Club (CTC) is a non-profit, volunteer based group which organizes outdoor, sports, green and social events. Ainthinai, CTC's green wing, organizes frequent environmental conservation activities including tree plantations and maintenance, organic farming, cleanups in beaches, lakes, rivers, workshops on sustainability, terrace farming, tree walks and more.
